NEVELE, BELGIUM -- The village tavern where I've been able to poach wifi all week is closed this evening. Of all nights to close, a Thursday. What kind of backwards country is this?

As a result I'm standing outside, tapping my cold fingers against my iPod, so I fear I won't be able to set up the "show" proposition for the Tour of Flanders, and this will have to be an abbreviated report.

Of course, there's nothing much to report other than to remind you to put in your picks for the big race, a monument that carries with it a 1.25x bonus. There are also side bets available, including predicting how well the American men and women do and whether or not Lance Armstrong peels off for an early shower.
