Rouleur Derby Report No. 74

Friday, May 3, 2013

In this Rouleur Derby Report:

1. Spring Classics wrap-up

2. The Giro!

Snow is still falling in parts of the United States but already the Spring Classics are behind us. Owing to shrewd picks at Paris-Roubaix (Sep Vanmarcke to podium at 70/1) and Amstel Gold (Saxo at 120/1), rwc19 of St. Paul., Minn., is this years Spring Classics winner, winning the $50 prize with a 377% return on investment.

And now we return to Italy, where we hope it has warmed up since Milan-Sanremo. This is your next chance to win $50. As always, it goes to the player with the highest percentage gain during the Grand Tour, regardless of total points won. Everyone has an equal shot.

To be eligible for the prize, you must place 10 different bets and risk at least 400 points.

Start making your wagers at http://www.rouleurderby.com.

The usual win and podium bets are available -- picking the winner brings a 25 percent bonus -- but also a few side props: Will Garmin-Sharp beat Sky? Will Cavendish win more than twice? And of course the ever popular, will there be a doping violation?

Betting on most propositions closes tonight, but expect another round of props as the Giro progresses, including bets for the time trials and for the rest days.

Have fun, play well, tell a friend,
